Breakfast Apples
Ingredients
- 1 apple, cored and chopped
- 1/2 cup crispy rice cereal squares (such as Rice Chex®), crushed
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons coconut oil
- 1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Place the apple, rice cereal, cinnamon, and coconut oil into a microwave-safe bowl.
Step 2
Cook in a microwave oven until the coconut oil has melted, 30 to 45 seconds. Stir to combine.
Step 3
Serve topped with berries and walnuts, if desired.
